Community Involvement
Hearing care works best when it reaches people where they live, gather, worship, work, and receive support. Hearing Aid Factory Outlet participates in senior-community programs, health fairs, educational events, caregiver outreach, and local partnerships throughout Gwinnett County and the surrounding Atlanta area.
Senior Communities
Senior living is a major part of our outreach. We provide scheduled service days, hearing-aid cleaning and checks, minor repairs, adjustments, family education, screenings, and referrals when more complete testing is needed. Learn more about our Senior Community Hearing Services.
Lunch-and-Learn Programs
Our educational sessions cover practical topics such as signs of hearing loss, communication strategies, hearing aids and memory concerns, background-noise difficulty, hearing-aid maintenance, phone connectivity, and when medical follow-up may be appropriate. Programs are designed to educate rather than pressure attendees to purchase.
Health Fairs and Community Screenings
Community screenings can help identify people who may benefit from a full hearing evaluation. A screening is not a diagnosis, but it can reveal a reason to schedule calibrated testing. We also provide information about hearing protection, communication access, and local hearing-care resources.
Mobile Hearing Care
Our mobile hearing clinic helps people who have difficulty traveling because of mobility, transportation, illness, caregiving responsibilities, or residence in a senior community. Services may include cleaning, troubleshooting, adjustments, follow-up, family training, and selected fittings. Visit Mobile and In-Home Hearing Care.
Public Service and Local Leadership
Gwen Cantrell, BC-HIS has a long record of public service, including twelve years on a local Board of Education and appointments by Georgia governors to professional licensing boards. That experience shapes a practice built around education, accountability, and community access.
Professional and Caregiver Partnerships
We welcome collaboration with physicians, ENT offices, senior-community teams, home-health professionals, rehabilitation providers, case managers, employers, public-safety agencies, and family caregivers. See our Professional Referrals page.
Request a Program
Organizations may request an educational seminar, screening event, senior-community service day, or mobile-care discussion. Availability depends on location, attendance, space, and the services requested.
