Hearing-aid help brought to the patient or resident
Mobile hearing-aid service may be available for adults who cannot reasonably travel and for individual residents living in senior communities. A family member, caregiver or authorized staff member may also request the visit.
Mobile services may include
Cleaning and Maintenance
Visual checks, cleaning, wax-guard or dome replacement and basic maintenance when appropriate.
Troubleshooting
Help with common sound, charging, connection, fit or daily-use concerns.
Adjustments and Programming
Selected hearing-aid adjustments, programming support and follow-up care when the device and setting allow.
Caregiver Support
Guidance on charging, cleaning, insertion, removal and everyday device care.
Some repairs require the office, laboratory or manufacturer
Not every problem can be completed during a mobile visit. Internal damage, moisture damage, broken components or manufacturer service may require the hearing aid to be taken to the office or sent for repair. We will explain the recommended next step after reviewing the device and concern.
Request mobile hearing-aid service
Provide the hearing-aid brand when known, the problem being experienced, the patient’s location and why travel to the office is difficult.
