Hearing Aid Factory Outlet has been honored as a Best of Gwinnett winner five years in a row—and we would be grateful for your support once again.
For us, Best of Gwinnett is more than an award. It represents the trust of the patients, families, caregivers, senior communities, and local partners who have allowed us to care for their hearing since we opened at Sugarloaf Mills in 2015. Every vote is a reminder that personal service, honest guidance, and careful follow-up still matter.

Five Consecutive Best of Gwinnett Wins
Being selected as a Best of Gwinnett winner from 2021 through 2025 has been one of our practice’s proudest achievements. Because this recognition reflects the voices of people in our community, it carries a special meaning for our entire team.

We are an independent, family-owned hearing care practice—not a national chain. That independence allows us to spend time listening, explain choices clearly, compare appropriate technology from respected manufacturers, and continue helping patients after the initial fitting. We never want anyone to feel rushed or pressured into a decision involving something as important as hearing.
Meet Gwen Cantrell, BC-HIS, CDP
Hearing Aid Factory Outlet is led by Gwen Cantrell, BC-HIS, CDP, a nationally board-certified hearing instrument specialist and Certified Dementia Practitioner. Gwen has twice been appointed by a Georgia governor to serve on state licensing boards responsible for hearing healthcare professionals. She currently serves on the Georgia State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, and Hearing Aid Dispensing.
Gwen’s path into hearing healthcare began with her daughter’s unexpected hearing-loss diagnosis. What began as a mother’s promise to help her child became a lifelong mission to help other individuals and families communicate with greater confidence. That personal beginning continues to shape the way Gwen approaches every patient: listen first, explain clearly, fit carefully, and remain available when help is needed.
Professional Hearing Care Built Around the Patient
Our Lawrenceville practice provides comprehensive hearing evaluations, speech-in-noise testing, hearing-aid consultations, professional programming, Real Ear Measurement, cleanings, adjustments, repairs, and ongoing follow-up care. We offer modern prescription hearing technology from Starkey, Signia, and Phonak, including rechargeable hearing aids, artificial-intelligence features, Bluetooth connectivity, smartphone control, and direct audio streaming.
Technology is only part of successful hearing care. The results also depend on selecting an appropriate device, programming it for the individual hearing loss, verifying the fitting, and making thoughtful adjustments as the patient adapts. Our goal is not simply to sell hearing aids. Our goal is to help each patient hear conversations more clearly and participate more fully in everyday life.
Our work also extends beyond the clinic through mobile hearing care, senior-community programs, caregiver education, community screenings, hearing-health presentations, and dementia-informed support. You can learn more about hearing loss, hearing technology, brain health, caregiver support, and local hearing-care resources in the BestHearingAids.com Hearing Health Blog.
